At the beginning of the school year we, the 5hba, went to Dublin for 6 days. Four hours of three of those days we spent in school, where we were split in two groups and went through different topics varying from Instagram to the history of Ireland.
All of us stayed in friendly host families in the south of Dublin.
Our trips around Dublin and the south of Ireland took us to places like the Dunbrody famine ship with its Irish emigrant experience, the city of Kilkenny, Kilmainham jail, the Guinness store house, Howth, Croke Park, Bray Head and on an Orientation walk through the city center of Dublin where we were introduced to various monuments and sights around the city center. Our evening activities included going for fish and chips in Howth, visiting Temple Bar district and participating in Irish Dance and singing classes.
It was a very cool journey, spending 6 beautiful and extraordinary days in Ireland where our English has improved and we were glad we made this trip.
